With the development over 60 years,Shanghai Puppet Theatre has become a first-class puppet theatre with worldwide reputation.It is not only known for rod puppet art,but also good at other performance forms such as shadow puppet and hand puppet.The theatre keeps an open mind about art with bold innovation and combination of art and technology.Its original play Shanghai -style Puppet Show has been included in the national intangible cultural heritage list.Its plays have won awards such as the Wenhua Awar,Golden Lion Award,Magnolia Award and so on.
