Shanghai Farce Troupe is the only state-owned professional farce troupe in Shanghai,also being one of the best farce troupes in China.The troupe was formerly known as the Shanghai Bee Farce Troupe. Shanghai Farce Troupe focus on performing farces, comedies and folk arts.It is a heritage base for farce,which is included in the national intangible cultural heritage list,and has a number of representative farce artists.
