Toonmax Satellite TV is affiliated with Shanghai Little Star  Group Co., Ltd. and is one of the five largest for-kid satellite channels in China. The channel has numerous years of experience in producing children, teenagers, and family programs. The channel’s target audiences are children of 0-14 along with mothers of 25-45. 

The channel creates the original super-popular animation IP "Star Squad Leader" and "Haha Family", among others. Over the years, it has launched original animation films "Star Squad Leader", "Haha Big Adventure", "Stubborn Donkey and Little Red Army", etc., and led the production of influential and high-grossing animated films such as "Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf", "McDull", "Pigman", "The Legend of Qin", "One Hundred Thousand Bad Jokes" and "The Magic Brush of Ma Liang".
